2013 – Starting cooperation with Dansesteget in Brønnøysund. Workshop held at schools
2014 – Continues with workshops in Brønnøysund.
2014 – Moving Moment project premieres the choreography Butterfly Kiss with young dancers from Brønnøysund.
Hisory
Background:
MovingMoment started with Nina Biong and Ida Rue in 2011, with an interest in how positive emotions have an impact on creativity and ability to make choices. They tested out how this could give a different perspective and approach to their artistic work in the dancefield. Gradually the idea became a project,creating small videos and showing work-in-progress performances. In 2013 we made a workshop for children that was to be given for Kulturskolen in Brønnøysund.
Ida switched place with Katja Schia Henriksen, and the cooperation with Dansesteget in Brønnøysund began for real. Katja and Nina now started to make the project into a performance which included children and professionals. We premiered in Brønnøysund in 2014!
Moving forward:
We are now happy to be a part Dansearena Nords supported projects for 2015, and hope to do this project with as many children and teenagers in north of Norway as possible!

That is why we would like to do it as much as possible, both in and outside Norway.
We would like to work with ballet schools, cultural schools, theaters, institutions for for children and youngsters etc.
