Nina Biong received her BA in contemporary dance from Oslo Academy of the Arts in 2008, and has been working as a freelance dance artist since then. Among the choreographers Nina has been working with is Ina Christel Johannessen/ Zero Visibility Corp., Masja Abrahamsen, Vilde Sparre and Gunhild Bjørnsgaard / Company B.Valiente. In 2015 will she be working as a choreographer collaborating with the percussionist Eirik Raude, as a dancer for Tharan Refvem and performing in a film by the director Isira Makuloluwe. Nina works with clean, dance expressions, physical theater and the combination between dance and film, and touring inside and outside Europe.
About Us
Katja Schia received her BA in contemporary dance from Oslo Academy of the Arts in 2009, and has been working as a freelance dance artist since then. She has worked as a performer in Norway and Europe. Among the choreographers Katja has been working with is Ingeleiv Berstad, Mari Fogner and Hanna Mjåvatn. The work spreads from improvisation and dance to theater. She has extensive experience in major productions involving children and young people on stage, among others Dissimilis Anniversary show at the Opera House, 70 kids from secondary school. Katja mastered some sign language and has done workshops and performances with and for deaf children aged 3-7 years.
Both Nina and Katja were both performers in the EU project Fragile, which received Critic Prize for Dance in 2013. This aimed to include blind and professional dancers in artistic process and performance.
